Job summary
Thales Group in Austin, TX, is seeking a Senior ServiceNow System Administrator to lead administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform. Hybrid role in Austin, TX or Plantation, FL with on-call rotation and governance responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of ServiceNow admin experience, 2+ years development in ServiceNow (CSM/ITSM), and strong knowledge of API integrations, REST/SOAP, LDAP/AD, and web technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of ServiceNow system administration experience.
- 2+ years development experience in ServiceNow, preferably in CSM or ITSM.
- 5+ years in IT product support or development.
- Experience upgrading, cloning, and moving update sets in ServiceNow.
- HTML, JavaScript, JSON, REST/SOAP knowledge.
- LDAP/Active Directory familiarity.
- Experience with domain registration and website administration.
Responsibilities
- Configure ServiceNow to meet business requirements on a regular cadence.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate to functional specs.
- Estimate effort and plan work units accordingly.
- Document procedures and work instructions for administration tasks.
- Manage upgrades and patching; participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.
- Monitor KPIs and address integration risks and performance issues.
