Job summary

General Services Corporation (GSC) is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician skilled in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and electrical tasks to service our properties. You will perform appliance and HVAC repairs, install units, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across residences.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in HVAC repair, EPA Type 2 or Universal certification, valid driver’s license, and a willingness to pass a background check. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry, and electrical skills.
• EPA Certification (Type 2 or Universal).
• HVAC installation experience.
• HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Passing a criminal background check required.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Initiative and customer service skills.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner
• Provide excellent customer service to our Residents.
• Repair and/or install all appliances and HVAC units as necessary to maintain a quality dwelling.
• Must comply with all environmental and OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Handle other general maintenance tickets as assigned.
