Whaley Foodservice in Springfield, VA is seeking a Service Technician II to maintain, service and repair commercial cooking equipment and refrigeration (grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, reach-ins, walk-ins, freezers, etc.).

The role requires diagnosing and repairing complex kitchen systems, communicating updates to customers and branch support, and ensuring safety standards and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair and/or refrigeration.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Satisfactory background check and drug screen required.
• Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs commercial cooking kitchen equipment and refrigeration.
• Communicates status updates for part orders and repairs with branch support and customers.
• Completes service calls accurately and timely.
• Audits truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
• Ensures service vehicle, tools, and uniforms are consistent with safety standards.
• Meets on-call requirements.
