Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC is seeking a Service/Repair Technician 3 to provide on-site support for Hobart Service customers, including installation, diagnosis, and repair of commercial food equipment. The role requires mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and HVACR aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

The position involves on-call, after-hours, holidays, and weekend work, with safety training and a focus on quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 4-7 years food equipment service experience and/or 2-4 years HVACR service experience.
• Associates Degree or Vocational Certificate preferred.
• Industry certification is highly desirable (CFESA / NATE / Hobart) and EPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and/or refrigeration commercial food equipment.
• Interprets schematic diagrams and follows operating sequences.
• Performs preventative maintenance and diagnostics on equipment.
• On-call, after-hours, holiday and weekend on-site repair support.
• Adheres to safety procedures and SOPs; promotes quality customer experience.
