About The Role

As a CBRE Senior Service Application Engineer, you will oversee the Application Engineering team, ensuring project delivery on time and within budget. Responsibilities include creating control databases, graphic screens, setting up control systems based on specifications, performing field startup, system commissioning, remote software installation, and providing technical support to engineers, installers, and customers. Proficiency in Niagara is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain standards for application databases and processes.
2. Create programming logic using flow diagrams, sequences, panel layouts, and project specifications.
3. Program control applications supporting operator workstations, DDC panels, and third-party devices using various software tools.
4. Perform system checkout, commissioning, and testing at job sites.
5. Develop system graphic displays per specifications.
6. Provide on-site and remote technical support.
7. Act as liaison between owner/construction managers.
8. Deliver operator training on installed systems.
9. Conduct system analysis and diagnostics, implementing corrective actions.
10. Coordinate system installation with contractors.
11. Perform final walkthroughs and ensure punch list completion.
12. Travel up to 10% within the US, including overnight trips.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in HVAC, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, with at least ten years of industry experience.

Certificates/Licenses: None required.

Skills: Valid driver’s license, excellent communication, organizational, analytical skills, proficiency in Windows, MS-Word, MS-Excel, Niagara, and reading BAS drawings. Knowledge of controls and HVAC systems.

Additional Information

Willingness to work evenings, holidays, and travel overnight as needed. Salary range: $90,000 - $100,000 annually, based on experience.
