About The Role

As a CBRE Senior Service Application Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the Application Engineering team and ensuring they deliver on time and within budget. Your duties include creating control databases, graphic screens, setting up control systems based on project specifications or sales proposals, performing field startup and system commissioning, and providing remote installation of software and control programs. You will offer on-site and remote technical support to Lead Application Engineers, Application Engineers, installers, and customers. Proficiency in Niagara is required for this role.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standards for application databases and processes.
• Create programming logic using flow diagrams, sequences of operation, panel layouts, termination details, and project specifications or sales proposals.
• Program control applications using various software tools to support operator workstations, DDC field panels, and third-party devices connected through multiple protocols.
• Perform job site system checkout, commissioning, and testing to verify proper operation according to specifications and design documentation.
• Develop system graphic displays as per project requirements.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Act as the technical liaison between owners and construction managers.
• Deliver on-site customer operator training on system use.
• Perform system analysis and diagnostics, and determine corrective actions.
• Coordinate system installation with contractors.
• Conduct final walkthroughs with owners and construction managers to ensure completion and signoff.
• Travel and some overnight trips up to 10% within the US.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with at least ten years of related industry experience. No specific certificates/licenses are required.

Excellent communication skills, a valid driver's license, and proficiency in Windows, MS-Word, MS-Excel, Niagara programming, and reading BAS drawings are essential.

Additional Requirements

Flexibility with schedule, including working nights and holidays, and willingness to travel with overnight stays. Ability to analyze complex documents and perform financial and technical assessments.

Compensation

The salary ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on skills and experience.
