Job Description

Job Summary

Designs, develops, and communicates technology models and foundations used to run applications, data, and infrastructure to support business processes. Promotes principles such as stability, scalability, performance, security, compatibility, and reusability, balancing tactical and strategic solutions. Considers business problems end-to-end, including people, process, and technology, within and outside the enterprise. Promotes industry and enterprise technology standards. Monitors emerging technologies for potential application. Adheres to design and development standards, methodology, and frameworks within architectural compliance and governance.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Develops software through hands-on coding to meet key business objectives.
• Applies software and application development methodologies adhering to standards.
• Designs and develops software applications or systems solving specific business or processing problems (Web or Mobile).
• Gathers business requirements and develops conceptual and technical designs for multiple projects concurrently.
• Reviews system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested programs or changes.
• Conducts peer reviews to ensure standards and quality.
• Provides guidance, performs code reviews, and ensures quality deliveries. Participates in build vs. buy evaluations.
• Provides architecture and design overviews in adherence to development standards.

Job Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field

Required Experience: 3-5 years of application development experience

Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Computer Science or Business

Preferred Experience: 5-7 years, Healthcare Industry

Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Technologies, Mobility, ITIL
