Job summary

Simbe Robotics is seeking a Senior Service Analyst in the San Francisco Bay Area (Hybrid — Burlingame office 2-3x/week required). This is not remote.

You will own end-to-end visibility into client commitments, sitting at the intersection of client success, engineering, and operations. You’ll build SOPs, run investigations, and strengthen cross-functional partnerships to keep service quality measurable and continuously improving.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-time, post-degree professional experience in a data/ops analytics role.
• Experience with SLA/SLO tracking or service-level reporting in a SaaS or tech operations context.
• Strong SQL and data querying skills; comfortable with BigQuery or an equivalent cloud warehouse.
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards in BI tools (Looker preferred).
• Exceptionally organized; able to manage multiple workstreams and maintain documentation.
• High attention to detail; detect anomalies and ensure data accuracy.
• Clear communicator across technical and non-technical audiences; translate data into operational recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve healthy service metrics across client portfolios with account team.
• Own tracking and reporting of client and fleet performance end-to-end, including accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead QA and root-cause analyses to identify gaps and ensure quality improvements.
• Document findings with precision and maintain an audit trail of issues and resolutions.
• Drive issues to resolution with engineering; prioritize and escalate as needed.
• Evolve the service observability handbook and SOPs; identify missing or breaking processes.
• Forecast resource requirements with the data-labeling team; collaborate across teams to scale workflows.
• Host office hours and mentor others on observability tooling and practices.
