Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer – Server Liquid Systems to join the NPD team responsible for the design, development, and testing of advanced thermal‑mechanical cooling solutions, including processor cold plates, RDHX, TTVs, manifolds, and piping.

You will create 3D models in Creo, support CFD/FEA, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, manage BOMs, and provide production support during fabrication and integration for customer‑specific solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience in thermal‑mechanical solutions, fluid systems, or cooling hardware.
• Proficient Creo modeling, drawings, and design intent documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret customer specifications and equipment drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design cold plates, RDHX assemblies, manifolds, piping systems, and liquid distribution components for new products and customer needs.
• Develop microchannel geometries optimized for pressure drop, heat flux, and manufacturability.
• Support CFD/FEA analyses for channel design and structural integrity.
• Create and maintain 3D models and BOMs; provide production support during prototypes and manufacturing.
• Collaborate across functions to deliver best thermal solutions.
