Responsibilities

• Administers and deploys infrastructure including hardware, software, and configurations.
• Maintains servers and ensures operational availability for users.
• Tests server hardware and software and performs remedial maintenance.
• Upgrades and configures server devices from multiple vendors and plans transitions to production environments.
• Confers with users to resolve problems affecting server performance and generates utilization reports.
• Maintains control of server devices and enforces security/backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Addresses vulnerabilities and participates in audits to ensure compliance.
