Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks a Senior Hardware Development Engineer to lead the hardware component boards for next-generation servers within the AWS Board Core Design team. You will own architecture, development, validation, and operations, working across domains like high-speed interconnects and memory.

You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to uphold safety, security, and cost standards while driving bold, innovative solutions in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• 5+ years of hardware products development experience.
• 5+ years hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10 years of experience in server hardware design and validation.
• Experience managing ODM relationships and driving technical programs.
• Experience developing validation test plans and test strategies.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with ODM partners.

Responsibilities

• Own the hardware component board from architecture to operations.
• Develop and maintain hardware design, development, and validation.
• Work on high-speed interconnects, multi-core processors, and high-capacity memory.
• Collaborate across AWS hardware and software teams to meet cost and safety standards.
