Job summary

SK AX USA, Inc. is seeking a skilled Server Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team in West Lafayette, IN.

You will manage server infrastructure across Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server, ensuring high availability, security, and performance in both on-premise and virtualized environments. The role requires 5+ years of experience, relevant certifications, and a readiness to collaborate with cybersecurity teams while maintaining thorough documentation and SOPs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in server engineering or IT infrastructure
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field preferred
• Proficiency in Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server with DNS and AD
• Knowledge of RAID, SAN, NAS, and backup technologies
• Certifications RHCSA, RHCE, and VCP preferred
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial IT environment is a plus
• Willingness to travel within the Atlanta Metropolitan Area
• Bilingual in Korean and English preferred for effective communication with global teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation ability
• Fast learner with adaptability to new technologies
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SOPs for server hardware and software maintenance
• Provide IT systems administration in Linux and Windows Server environments
• Install, configure, and manage server devices across vendors
• Monitor capacity, performance, and uptime across platforms
• Troubleshoot complex server issues involving hardware, OS, and virtualization layers
• Administer access control, backups, and disaster recovery processes
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to maintain compliance and security
• Maintain documentation for IT processes and configurations
• Support and manage virtualization environments (VMware) and storage (SAN/NAS)
• Participate in 24/7 operational readiness and on-call support
