Job summary

Arena Physica in New York City is seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in SerDes and Signal Integrity to advance Atlas's high-speed interconnect verification and optimization.

You will model, simulate, and validate SerDes channels from PCB traces to connectors, build EM workflows, and ensure production-grade results while traveling up to 25% of the time. This role requires in-person work at Arena Physica HQ when not traveling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SI, SerDes channel engineering or high-speed design.
• Strong fundamentals in insertion/return loss, crosstalk, and dispersion.
• Experience with high-speed channel simulation and RLGC extraction.

Responsibilities

• Model SerDes channels end-to-end and simulate PCB traces, vias, and connectors.
• Generate RLGC, S-parameters, and channel margin estimates for high-speed links.
• Correlate simulations with VNA, TDR, and BER lab measurements.
• Develop repeatable, production-grade EM simulation workflows for Atlas.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize interconnects and packaging.
