Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking an experienced R&D Engineer specializing in electromagnetics and high-speed SERDES development. You will define EM extraction and simulation flows for cutting-edge 3DIC designs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure elite performance from 10Gbps to 500Gbps.

You will lead the use of Helic, HFSS, and ADS tools, contribute to methodology improvements, and drive pragmatic solutions through rigorous analysis and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of CMOS, FinFET, and GAA EM design experience.
• Proficiency with Helic, HFSS, and ADS electromagnetic extraction tools.
• Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory and high-speed design challenges.
• Experience in RF spice simulations and configuring models in EM extraction workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop EM extraction and simulation flows for 3DIC designs and SERDES from 10Gbps to 500Gbps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve EM issues.
• Provide technical leadership in Helic, HFSS, and ADS tool usage.
• Lead design and methodology initiatives to improve product performance.
• Ensure robust deployment of EM solutions across domains and product lines.
