Job description

829’s Senior SEO Specialist role is a mid-level position on the Search Engine Optimization team. You will be reporting directly to an SEO Manager and service a book of small to medium clients independently or in teams. An ideal candidate for this role will have a solid foundation of common SEO concepts, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for growth in a fast-paced digital marketing environment. This role requires previous experience with search engine optimization and offers a straightforward career path to advance within the team.

What you'll do:

1. Auditing websites for SEO
2. Addressing technical issues
3. Developing in-depth content strategy based on keyword and market research
4. Writing and implementing search engine optimized copy
5. Optimizing client-produced content for SEO
6. Direct communication with clients when necessary

What you'll bring:

1. 2+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on SEO
2. Experience with WordPress, SquareSpace, or other CMS
3. Experience with SEMRush or equivalent tools
4. Good understanding of Google Analytics
5. Nice to Have: Front-end development experience and/or HubSpot experience
