Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an Account Strategist, SEO to own strategy, performance and leadership across paid search, paid social, SEO and CRO for a growing client portfolio. This is a hybrid strategic and operational role with involvement in sales calls and guiding internal and external specialists.

The role requires senior-level oversight, strong communication, and the ability to deliver measurable outcomes across multifamily, B2B and technical verticals.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years in PPC, SEO or multi-channel strategy.
• Experience running paid and organic channels concurrently.
• Expertise with Google Ads, GA4, and Google Search Console.
• Ability to articulate strategic recommendations for clients and AEs.
• Track record overseeing execution teams and quality of deliverables.
• Sharp analytical skills for diagnosing performance issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for all PPC and SEO clients across industries.
• Join sales calls to validate scope and pitch recommendations.
• Build 90 day, 6 month, and annual growth roadmaps for clients.
• Own client performance across Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft, and organic search.
• Audit campaigns, keyword strategies, bidding, landing pages, and CRO.
• Oversee technical SEO, on-page SEO, link building, and AI-driven content.
• Track KPI, attribution and analytics accuracy.
• Provide weekly direction and QA, coordinating with the marketing project manager.
• Present monthly and quarterly performance summaries to clients.
