Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff (level 5) Systems Engineer for the Sentinel Systems Engineering team in Roy, UT. You will decompose requirements, own environments for equipment, review vendor specs, and support design reviews and testing to ensure system readiness.

The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance, DoD test experience, and the ability to travel ~25% to CONUS locations. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance at time of application.
Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 environmental testing and tailoring.
Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-344, MIL-HDBK-310, RCC 319, DOORS v7.X.

Responsibilities

Decompose parent level requirements into lower-level requirements.
Own environments for equipment and derive environmental figures for documents.
Review vendor performance specs and verification methodologies.
Support design reviews and test planning activities.
Witness testing as the Environments Engineer.
