Job summary

Gruma Corporation is seeking a Sensory Scientist to lead descriptive sensory panels and provide actionable results to drive product performance in tortillas, corn and snacks. You will design experiments, analyze data, and communicate insights to R&D and Marketing Insights while coordinating with cross-functional teams for new product development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Act as panel leader for descriptive panel: planning, execution and interpretation of descriptive analysis in tortillas and chips.
Plan and execute sensory projects; communicate findings to R&D, marketing insights and cross-functional teams.
Design experiments and interpret statistical results for sensory evaluations.
Coordinate with R&D and business teams on new product development and improvements.
Lead panel recalibration to maintain optimal capability; prepare reports and presentations.
