Job summary

Sensient Colors is seeking a Sensory Manager to lead and manage our sensory evaluation program, ensuring objective, repeatable assessments of raw materials, in-process materials, finished products and customer samples.

You will provide technical leadership across Quality, Applications, Manufacturing and other cross-functional teams, establish sensory standards, oversee panels, analyze data, and present insights to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food/Sensory Science or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years in sensory science or related field.
• Experience designing and implementing sensory programs and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Sensory team delivering sensory expertise for business, growth and customer initiatives.
• Define priorities and manage projects using ASTM sensory protocols and best practices.
• Implement latest sensory methodologies including statistical analysis and software testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence business decisions.
• Present sensory results to internal and external customers and maintain descriptive panel.
