Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is hiring for a growth-focused engineer to work on the Falcon sensor’s foundational detection and response functions.

You will own multiple SSP domains, gain deep knowledge of the sensor core logic, and collaborate with teams across CrowdStrike to advance a suite of security capabilities. You’ll write code in C++, Python, and an internal DSL, participate in tests, and help diagnose customer-reported issues while integrating with cloud and endpoint components.

Qualifications

• Read and write C++ (though not primarily a C++ position).
• Experience with large, highly-concurrent systems and distributed teams.
• Ability to design and implement performant, correct, well-structured logic.
• Ability to read and write for cross-team collaboration across cloud and on‑premise components.

Responsibilities

• Understand, modify and own complex sensor detections and response capabilities.
• Gain expertise in the Falcon sensor core logic for internal use by CrowdStrike teams.
• Communicate design constraints, guarantees and system aspects to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, adversary response teams and researchers across the company.
• Write code in various languages, including an internal DSL used for event handling.
• Write unit, functional and integration tests; diagnose issues reported by customers or other teams.
