Job summary

CrowdStrike in Redmond, WA is hiring an engineer for the Falcon Sensor's foundational detection and response functions within the SSP team. You will own and evolve complex sensor detections, write cross-platform code, and collaborate with adversary response, malware researchers, and product managers to stop breaches.

The role emphasizes working across macOS, Linux, and Windows, writing in-house language and C++, and contributing tests and CI.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C++ and comfortable reading/writing code across multiple platforms.
• Experience with large, distributed systems and security-focused tooling.
• Ability to read/write Python and use AI-enhanced decision workflows.
• Familiarity with endpoint security concepts and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Understand, modify and own complex sensor detections and response capabilities.
• Learn core logic of the Falcon sensor and mentor other developers.
• Communicate design constraints, guarantees and system behavior.
• Collaborate with engineering, malware research, and product teams.
• Write code in in-house asynchronous language and C++; contribute tests.
