Job summary

CrowdStrike in Austin, TX is seeking an engineer for the Falcon sensor\'s SSP, focusing on detection and response capabilities. You\'ll work across sensor, security, and platform missions to deliver shared ownership on critical security features.

You will write code in C++ and other languages, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and write tests, while gaining expertise in the Falcon Sensor core logic and contributing to a scalable, AI-enabled security platform.

Qualifications

• Ownership of complex sensor detections and response capabilities.
• Ability to read and write C++ and in-house languages; experience with multi-language codebases.
• Ability to reason about highly-concurrent systems and write robust, scalable code.
• Strong collaboration across distributed teams and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Understand, modify and own SSP sensor detections and responses.
• Develop, test and integrate sensor functionality across macOS, Linux and Windows.
• Write unit, functional and integration tests.
• Communicate design, constraints and guarantees to stakeholders.
• Diagnose and resolve issues raised by customers or other teams.
