Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an engineer to join the Sensor Security Platform (SSP) team. You’ll work on the Falcon sensor’s detection and response capabilities, focusing on core logic, cross-team collaboration, and high-concurrency challenges.

Applicants should have experience with C++, Linux, and AI-enabled workflows, and be comfortable in a distributed, on-site/remote team. The role is hybrid with on-site days in Sunnyvale, CA.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write C++ (preferred).
• Experience reasoning about large, highly-concurrent systems.
• Comfort collaborating in a distributed, cross-timezone team.

Responsibilities

• Understand, modify and own critical sensor detections and responses.
• Gain expertise in Falcon Sensor core logic and support other developers.
• Communicate design constraints, guarantees, and system aspects.
• Collaborate with engineering, adversary response, malware research, and product teams.
• Write unit, functional and integration tests.
• Diagnose and resolve issues reported by customers or other teams.
