Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Counter Intrusion MSE team in Irvine, CA. You will own software solutions deployed to customers, integrating sensor nodes into Anduril's software stack and advancing autonomous, sensor-driven capabilities across our product line.

You will write robust code for data-heavy sensor integration (C++ and Rust), collaborate across hardware and software teams, and support field deployments while addressing critical issues.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in writing software for sensor integration using C++ and Rust.
• 3+ years of experience integrating, designing, developing on, or optimizing remote sensing systems (Radar, Lidar, EO, IR).
• Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis.
• Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the software solutions deployed to customers.
• Write code to improve products and scale mission capability to more customers.
• Write fast and functional code for sensor integration that is reliable and robust.
• Integrate sensor nodes into the larger Anduril software stack.
• Drive integration and optimization across hardware and software teams.
• Support existing deployments in the field and address critical issues.
• Collaborate with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing UX and engineering constraints.
