Job summary
SSI Technologies, LLC is seeking a Sensor Development Engineer III to lead the development of speed and position sensing products from concept through production launch. The role requires translating customer requirements into robust sensing solutions by integrating magnetic design, sensor electronics, materials, packaging, validation, and manufacturing. Collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams is essential to meet performance, quality, timing, and cost objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics Engineering, or related engineering discipline required.
Experience as primary technical owner of products through full development lifecycle from concept to production launch required.
Experience with VR/Hall-effect/MR sensing technologies and speed/position sensing systems required.
Responsibilities
Lead development from concept through production launch of speed and position sensing products.
Translate customer requirements into robust sensing solutions via multidisciplinary collaboration.
Own verification, validation, and design-for-manufacturing activities across automotive programs.
