Dexcom is seeking a Senior Algorithm Engineer to lead development of advanced sensing algorithms powering next-generation CGM and health sensing technologies. You will build physics-based and data-driven models to characterize sensor behavior and enhance measurement performance.

Ideal candidates have a PhD or Master’s in a related field with significant industry experience, and strong skills in Python, MATLAB, and C/C++.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biomedical Engineering or related field with 2+ years industry experience; or Master’s with 2–5+ years experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or similar environments.
• Deep expertise in statistical estimation, signal processing, optimization, and modeling.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of advanced algorithms for next-generation glucose sensing technologies.
• Develop physics-based, mechanistic, and data-driven models to characterize sensor behavior.
• Design and implement signal processing, estimation, calibration, detection, and predictive algorithms.
• Apply statistical modeling, machine learning, and data analytics to bench, preclinical, clinical, and real-world datasets.
• Drive clinical performance assessments and algorithm maturation with cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate algorithm performance through simulation, modeling, and experimental analysis.
• Provide technical insights on algorithm architecture and verification strategies.
• Identify opportunities to optimize system performance and resource utilization.
• Facilitate design transfer activities with firmware and validation teams.
