Job summary

WORLD WIDE PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS in Peoria, AZ seeks a Tool Install Design Manager to lead engineering and design activities for semiconductor tool installation, hook up, and interfaces between process tools and facility utilities.

You will coordinate design deliverables with process, mechanical, electrical, controls, BIM/VDC, and construction partners, manage design releases, and support move-in through startup at a major capital project.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or commensurate technical experience.
• 10+ years in engineering, design management, tool install or related roles.
• 5+ years in leadership or people management.
• Direct semiconductor fab, cleanroom or subfab project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and integrate engineering and design activities for semiconductor tool installation and tool hook up scope from planning to startup.
• Coordinate tool design requirements between manufacturing equipment and facility systems including process utilities.
• Translate vendor documentation and constraints into coordinated design scope and installation packages.
• Manage design interfaces with base build infrastructure and cleanroom/subfab facilities.
• Drive design coordination across disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure constructability.
• Oversee design deliverables and release priorities to support move-in, hook up and commissioning.
• Resolve RFIs and design conflicts to minimize installation risks.
• Interface with client engineering and manufacturing groups on design standards and requirements.
