Job summary

Semtech in the United States seeks a Test Engineer 4 to lead and shape test engineering strategies across major divisions. You will develop governance models, define KPIs, and drive optimization to ensure product verification aligns with business goals.

You will mentor a team of test engineers, partner with product, manufacturing and quality teams, and guide next-generation test innovations to strengthen semiconductor product excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in semiconductor test engineering leadership.
• 3+ years of management experience leading test teams.
• Advanced knowledge of semiconductor test methodologies, equipment platforms, and quality frameworks.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and product development environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies and governance aligned with business objectives.
• Lead test technology selection and platform development.
• Drive test performance optimization and KPI development.
• Lead next-generation test innovations and infrastructure planning.
