Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Staff Test Quality Engineer in the Dallas area to strengthen wafer sort, final test, and production release quality. You will lead test strategy, improve coverage, and reduce escapes with hands-on expertise in analog and digital testing, debugging, and data analysis.

The role requires deep experience across test hardware/software development, and establishing DFT/DFM standards for high-reliability products, working with multiple sites and cross-functional teams to raise

Qualifications

• 10+ years of semiconductor test engineering experience including wafer sort, final test, and production release.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in analog and digital test development and test programming.
• Experience with ATE platforms and test methodologies; able to lead cross-functional problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain corporate standards for DFT, DFM, test coverage, guardbanding, and production test requirements.
• Support mass production transitions and ongoing quality improvements.
• Review and audit test programs for datasheet compliance and coverage.
• Lead investigations (8D) and corrective actions for test-related issues.
• Drive cross-site adoption of scalable test solutions and best practices.
