Job summary
GlobalFoundries is seeking a Maintenance Technician at its Malta site (Fab 8) to monitor, sustain, and improve semiconductor equipment and processes. You will partner with production teams and area engineers, performing preventative and corrective maintenance and troubleshooting to keep the line running.

Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) and related maintenance experience.
- Experience paths include 2-year technical degree with 4 years of relevant work or 6+ years in technical roles.
- English language fluency and ability to read/write well.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain semiconductor equipment to ensure manufacturing readiness.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned tool sets per operating procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues using mechanical, electrical, and PC/software skills.
- Communicate status updates to Lead Tech/Engineer and participate in shift handoffs.
- Support training activities and continuous improvement efforts.
