Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Essex Junction seeks a Maintenance Technician for Fab9 (200mm). You will monitor, sustain, and improve equipment and processes, partnering with production teams and area engineers. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance and troubleshoot using mechanical, electronic, and PC skills.

This role requires a high school diploma and hands-on electrical or mechanical experience. Ability to work 12-hour shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain safety in a cleanroom is

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Electrical or mechanical experience: 2-year tech degree +4 years, or 2 years military +4 years, or 4+ years in related fields.
• English language fluency (written & verbal).
• Willingness to work 3-4 day alternating weeks, day or night shift.
• Cleanroom environment experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Monitor equipment for manufacturing readiness.
• Communicate status updates to Lead Tech/Engineer.
• Support training activities.
