Job summary

GlobalFoundries MaltaFab8 is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving semiconductor equipment and processes. You will troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and communicate updates to the Lead Tech and Engineer.

Ideal candidates have strong electrical or mechanical skills, experience with cleanroom protocols, and the ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift in a fast-paced FAB8 environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree (or equivalent).
• Experience: Electrical or mechanical, 2-year technical degree or 4 years related experience (military, automotive, HVAC, etc).
• Able to work in a cleanroom environment and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, sustain, and improve equipment and processes in assigned area.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per operating procedures.
• Communicate status updates to Lead Tech or Engineer.
• Maintain safe work practices and participate in EHS programs.
