Harder Mechanical Contractors Inc. seeks a Project Safety Manager to lead construction safety on semiconductor projects. You will partner with project management and field supervision to ensure safe completion of work and compliance with standards.

Key duties include site inspections, incident investigations, safety training, and developing hazard analyses. The role requires OSHA 30, 510 and related certifications, plus extensive industry knowledge. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of fall protection systems, electrical safety, permit-required confined spaces, excavation trenching and shoring, scaffolding, hazard communication, accident investigation and reporting.
• OSHA 30-hour and OSHA 510 certifications; CSP/CHST/OHST are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety on-site through incident prevention, inspections, training, investigations and writing reports.
• Act as on-site Competent Person performing regular site inspections of work, materials and equipment.
• Oversee safety personnel assigned to the project.
• Advise site superintendents on hazards and safe work practices across construction activities.
• Develop activity hazards analyses for major processes and assess PPE needs.
• Deliver toolbox talks and site-specific training to employees and managers.
