Job summary

The role requires 4+ years in materials science or a related field, with experience in single-beam SEM and cross-section prep.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a physical science or an equivalent specialized training.
• Experience operating single-beam SEM tools and preparing cross-sections for XSEM imaging.
• Familiarity with SEM physics: vacuum systems, voltage/current effects, charging mitigation.
• Experience with precision cleaving tools is a plus.
• Comfortable with night-shift compressed schedules.

Responsibilities

• Follow TDSEM/XSEM sample preparation methods per quality standards.
• Optimize personal workflows to maximize sample throughput.
• Communicate with lab management to provide work completion estimates.
• Provide feedback to improve lab workflows and processes.
