Job summary

BNBuilders, Inc. seeks a Self-Perform Senior Project Engineer to support self-perform projects and coordinate closely with Self Perform and General Contractor teams from pre-construction through closeout.

You will manage documentation, submittals, RFIs, procurement logs, cost tracking, and assist with change orders while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule on a busy job site. This is a collaborative role that rewards initiative and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the construction industry.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Effective participation in a team environment.
• Ability to be flexible and handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple job sites and monitor progress through all project phases.
• Serve as information hub between field and office teams.
• Ensure project documents are complete and accessible.
• Create material submittals based on plans and specs.
• Write and manage RFIs as required.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure code compliance.
• Create procurement logs and flag long-lead items.
• Assist with change orders and maintain cost logs.
• Support weekly production tracking and issue resolution.
• Assist with job cost documentation and timecard entry.
