Job summary

PC Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Seacoast Special Projects Group and contribute to the success of our self-perform team. The ideal candidate holds an engineering or construction management degree, with three years of experience in overall project direction, completion, and financial outcomes, including self-perform work.

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering or construction management.
  • Three years of experience in overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction project.
  • Self-perform experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of MEP scopes of work.
  • Willingness to travel between Manchester, NH and Portland, ME offices.

Responsibilities

  • Review design drawings and specifications to determine scope, intent, and issues.
  • Develop scope of work with clients based on existing conditions and project goals.
  • Assemble and distribute bid packages.
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor communication regarding scope, pricing, and schedule.
  • Prepare and process RFIs and change orders.
  • Assist with project takeoffs and estimating activities.
  • Maintain documentation logs and project schedules.
