Job summary

GE Aerospace in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Remedial Project Manager to lead investigation and remediation of legacy sites with emphasis on PCB-impacted sediments and floodplain soils in aquatic environments; role requires coordination with EPA Regions 1/2 and state regulators.

You will manage cross-functional teams of external consultants, report to the Sediment Team Leader, oversee budgets and reserves, and ensure compliance with federal and state environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Biology or Environmental Sciences.
• Minimum 15 years project management experience on sediment remediation projects.
• Ability to communicate using English.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of all remediation activities to implement projects.
• Manage diverse portfolio of sediment projects in North America with legacy contamination.
• Coordinate with project counsel on remedial site matters.
• Optimize mix of internal and external resources to balance cost, risk, and value.
• Monitor budgets, reserves, and provide timely financial reporting.
• Engage with regulators and external environmental community.
• Provide strategic direction to external teams and report to management.
• Demonstrate contract management and compliance with environmental regulations.
