Job summary

Acre Security is seeking a Senior Technical Trainer in Austin, TX to lead hands-on customer education across our access control, video, visitor management, and intrusion solutions. The role blends classroom facilitation, product mastery, and curriculum development to deliver consistent, credible training for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

This senior IC position requires independent management of complex training initiatives, content development, and launch readiness programs

Qualifications

Five or more years of relevant experience in technical training, access control, or related fields.
Experience teaching adult learners through hands-on labs, software demos, guided practice, and assessments.
Ability to create or improve technical courseware, lesson plans, instructor guides, labs, and certification programs.

Responsibilities

Deliver instructor-led technical training for customers, partners, and internal teams from the Austin, TX facility.
Facilitate up to five days of onsite training per week when classes are scheduled.
Develop curriculum with content specialists and SMEs, including labs, assessments, and certification criteria.
Build and maintain delivery plans, lab procedures, and equipment lists.
Coach virtual instructors and establish quality standards for facilitation.
Define measures of learner completion, certification outcomes, and course quality.
