Job summary

Databricks in San Francisco seeks a Staff Technical Program Manager for Trust & Safety Engineering to drive technical execution across identity, privacy, and platform security at scale. You will collaborate with Security Engineering, Identity Infrastructure, ML, and Core Platform teams to design and deploy systems for authentication, access control, and anomaly detection.

Embedded in engineering groups, you will translate privacy-by-design principles and threat models into actionable roadmaps,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent technical experience.
• 8+ years in technical program management or related security leadership.
• Translate security/privacy requirements into technical strategy and measurable outcomes.
• Resolve conflicting priorities across cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define, articulate, and own the security program strategy and roadmap.
• Drive initiatives across Identity Infrastructure, Data Governance, Platform Security, ML, and Trust Engineering.
• Oversee execution of multi-faceted security initiatives from strategy to outcomes.
• Leverage cloud and distributed systems knowledge to influence design decisions and mitigate risks.
• Define and track security KPIs/OKRs and communicate program health to stakeholders.
• Present program status and risks to executives and technical audiences.
