Job summary

Vector Security, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Services Representative to provide advanced technical support for security hardware and software. You will assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance while leveraging internal knowledge bases and vendor tools.

The role emphasizes diagnosing complex issues, guiding customers, and documenting steps for resolution. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving are essential in a fast-paced security environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience is required.
• 3+ years of helpdesk support experience preferred.
• 1 year of low voltage, security & surveillance industry experience preferred.
• Intermediate networking and hardware experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred as work flows through this system.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediary technical support via phone, email, or workflow applications.
• Setup of customer configurations; validate work completed via vendor applications.
• Hardware repair and programming for pc-based systems; document actions taken.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams with proper steps.
• Create, update and maintain department resources and customer databases.
