Job summary

Vector Security, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Technician to install and service complex residential and commercial security solutions, including wired and wireless systems. You will troubleshoot network-related issues and support basic integration while mentoring junior technicians.

The role emphasizes effective communication with customers, hands-on problem solving, and ensuring safe, neat job sites. A background in life safety/home automation is preferred and a valid driver’s license is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of field experience or equivalent technical education or certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of life safety and home automation equipment experience- preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install Commercial Systems: Complete installation of security systems, wired and wireless, with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot complex systems and network issues, and work with basic integration.
• Run and fish wires in a concealed manner.
• Set up and communicate system functionality to customer and answer questions.
• Keep job site clean & organized for safe work practices.
• Review work of junior technicians and provide training to correct errors.
