IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a Senior Commercial Electrical Security Systems Project Manager in Virginia to oversee multi-phase construction projects and drive new business opportunities for security systems within commercial electrical installations.

The role requires managing budgets, schedules, and client relations while ensuring compliance with NEC and OSHA standards; travel may be required. The company emphasizes safety and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ electrical construction project management experience in all phases of electrical projects.
• Bachelor's Degree engineering or construction management preferred.
• Valid Electrical License on the Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
• Proficient computer, communications (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
• Business knowledge of vendors in the electrical construction industry.
• Ability to travel.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background and MVR checks when operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

• Provides overall managementin all phases of construction for one or more commercial electrical projects and develops new business opportunities relative to a particular Client, group of Clients or geographical area
• Manages security systems projects in a manner that exceeds our customers' expectations and ensures that our work adheres to NEC, company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements
• Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy
• Represents company in project meetings and assists in labor negotiations, strategy meetings
• Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintains good relationship with clients
• Travel as required
