IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical in Chester, VA seeks a Commercial Electrical Construction Security Systems Project Manager to lead one or more electrical construction projects and develop new business opportunities within a defined client base.

You will ensure NEC, safety policies and OSHA requirements are met while representing the company in meetings and negotiations. The role requires 5+ years of electrical PM experience, a related Bachelor's degree preferred, and a

Qualifications

• 5+ years' electrical construction project management experience in all phases.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• Valid Electrical License on Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall management in all phases of construction for one or more commercial electrical projects and develops new business opportunities relative to a Client or geographical area.
• Manages security systems projects ensuring NEC, safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy.
• Represents company in project meetings and participates in labor negotiations/strategy meetings.
• Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interests while maintaining client relationships.
• Travel as required.

Commercial Electrical Construction Security Systems Project Manager

Location: Chester, Virginia.

Job Summary

• Provides overall management in all phases of construction for one or more commercial electrical projects and develops new business opportunities relative to a particular Client, group of Clients or geographical area
• Manages security systems projects in a manner that exceeds our customers' expectations and ensures that our work adheres to NEC, company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements
• Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy
• Represents company in project meetings and assists in labor negotiations, strategy meetings
• Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintains good relationship with clients
• Travel as required

Qualifications

• 5 or more years' electrical construction project management experience in all phases of electrical projects.
• Bachelor's Degree engineering or construction management preferred
• Valid Electrical License on the Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
• Proficient computer, communications (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
• Business knowledge of vendors in respective electrical construction industry.
• Ability to travel.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
