Job summary

An Installation Technician III role in San Antonio involves installing and configuring intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems at customer sites, with emphasis on safety and contract retention.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of field installation experience, multiple certifications, and the ability to work in data centers, with a valid driver’s license and physical capability for

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Three video certifications and two access control certifications required.
• Experience in data centers is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• Must be able to climb ladders up to 24 ft and carry items up to 75 lbs; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Run electrical wiring in confined spaces and perform installation tasks.
• Complete wiring and setup to meet customer and contract requirements.
• Coordinate scheduling and equipment delivery with Team Lead or Project Manager.
• Test installations for functionality and code compliance.
• Maintain professional appearance and follow safety and cost guidelines.
• Foster positive customer relationships and support contract retention.
• Handle confidential information and documentation per company policies.
• Stay current with product updates through ongoing training.
