Job summary

Securitas Technology is hiring an Installation Technician III to install and configure intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems at customer sites. You will run wiring, coordinate with project teams, and ensure compliant, high-quality installations.

The role requires 5+ years of field experience, multiple certifications, and IT/or IP video familiarity. A valid driver's license and ability to lift heavy equipment are essential; training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years installing/servicing intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Three video certifications and two access control certifications.
• Data center experience a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical degree preferred.
• Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House, or Picture Perfect certifications preferred.
• Bosch, Honeywell, Radionics, or DMP system knowledge preferred.
• IP video and IT experience preferred.
• Must climb ladders up to 24 ft and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Run electrical wiring in confined spaces; drilling, trenching, and aerial work.
• Complete system wiring and equipment setup per contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Team Lead or Project Manager on scheduling and equipment delivery.
• Test and troubleshoot new installations for functionality and code compliance.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to safety and cost guidelines.
• Foster positive customer relationships and support contract retention.
• Handle proprietary information per company policies.
• Stay current with product and technology updates through ongoing training.
