Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL is seeking a Security Systems Engineer III to design and maintain security controls across infrastructure and web environments. You will lead foundational security reviews and drive deployment decisions, while building an organizational SIEM and log solution with monitoring platforms.

You will work with stakeholders at all levels to enhance network, system, and application security across cloud and on-premises environments, and contribute to enterprise security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Minimum of 7 years of IT security experience in an enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of Palo Alto Networks firewall platforms and security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain security controls for systems and applications.
• Lead security reviews and assessments, and guide deployment decisions.
• Develop and manage organizational SIEM and log solutions with monitoring platforms.

• Address threats and remediate vulnerabilities through monitoring and tooling.
