Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead daily security operations, patrol property, and ensure a safe environment for residents, guests, and team members. You will enforce safety protocols and assist with after-hours escorts and deliveries.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and 3+ years in security, with strong communication and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Office and security systems is preferred, and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years related security or safety experience preferred.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive in emergency situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security documentation systems.
• Strong organizational, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support security team members in daily operations.
• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds and parking areas.
• Monitor doors, gates and access points for safety and security.
• Investigate incidents, complete reports and respond to emergencies.
• Coordinate with local police, fire and emergency responders as needed.
• Enforce safety protocols, OSHA standards and risk management policies.
• Secure and unlock community areas per policy.
• Assist residents with after-hours escorts and package delivery.
• Maintain security logs, equipment inventory and daily documentation.
• Support transportation needs when required.
• Coach, train and develop security team members.
