Job summary

Cisco Security Professional Services seeks a Security Consulting Engineer to deliver day-1 and day-2 services, designing and deploying Cisco security solutions for large enterprises in the United States. You will lead workshops, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Account Teams to uncover customer needs.

The role requires deep Cisco security expertise including firewall, VPN, Umbrella, and ISE, as well as the ability to automate and integrate with Cisco APIs. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical role with 7+ years in cybersecurity, IT consulting, and systems integration.
• Deep expertise in Cisco Secure Firewall/ASA technologies and enterprise firewall deployments (cloud & on‑prem).
• Experience with VPN deployments (Cisco AnyConnect/Secure Client) and VPN platforms.
• Knowledge of Cisco Umbrella, Cisco Secure Access, and other SASE solutions.
• Solid knowledge of Cisco ISE and TrustSec; hands-on preferred.
• Understanding of Cloud Security, Network Visibility, Zero Trust, and design principles.
• Ability to deliver automation artifacts using common frameworks and Cisco APIs.
