Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Security Consulting Engineer to deliver day-1 and day-2 services across Cisco Security Solutions for enterprise customers. You will design, document, implement, and operate security architectures while mentoring others and driving value.

You will lead workshops, provide training, and collaborate with Security Architects, Solutions Development, and Account Teams worldwide. Strong technical breadth across firewalls, VPNs, and cloud security is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cybersecurity, IT consulting and systems integration for large enterprises.
• Deep expertise in Cisco Secure Firewall/ASA and enterprise deployments.
• VPN technologies and enterprise VPN deployments (on-prem/cloud) incl. AnyConnect/Secure Client.
• Experience with Cisco Umbrella, Secure Access, and SASE solutions.
• Knowledge of Cisco ISE and TrustSec; hands-on preferred.
• Cloud Security, Network Visibility, and Zero Trust Segmentation knowledge.
• Automation artifacts using common automation frameworks and Cisco APIs.
• Experience designing, implementing, optimizing, and operating network security solutions.
• Strong understanding of secure design principles and TCP/IP.

Responsibilities

• Lead, monitor, and report on security services engagements with Cisco customers.
• Deliver security solutions independently or by leading a multi-discipline team.
• Design, document, validate, pilot, deploy and automate Cisco Security Solutions.
• Provide ongoing support to continuously realize more value from deployments.
• Demonstrate deep Cisco security expertise and communicate architectural context.
• Evaluate and present alternative designs to influence outcomes.
• Troubleshoot and recover customers from technical and security issues.
• Collaborate across Cisco security practice and other Cisco groups.
• Support creation and adherence to standards and delivery frameworks.
