Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is looking for a senior security consultant to lead engagements at major Cisco customers. You will deliver Cisco security solutions, mentor engineers, and drive automation across cloud and on‑prem environments. The role requires deep technical Cisco security knowledge and the ability to influence design decisions.

You will design and deploy secure network solutions, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to maximize value and ensure ongoing customer success.

Qualifications

• This is a technical role requiring 7+ years in cybersecurity, IT consulting, and systems integration for large enterprises.
• Deep expertise with Cisco Secure Firewall/ASA and enterprise firewall deployments in cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Strong VPN expertise with Cisco AnyConnect/Secure Client in cloud and on‑prem deployments.
• Technical knowledge of Cisco Umbrella, Cisco Secure Access, and other SASE solutions.
• Solid knowledge of Cisco ISE and TrustSec; cloud security, zero trust, and network visibility.
• Ability to deliver automation artifacts using common frameworks and Cisco APIs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to engage executives and technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead, monitor, and report on security services engagements at Cisco customers.
• Deliver security solutions independently and by leading a multi-discipline team.
• Design, document, validate, pilot, deploy and automate Cisco Security Solutions.
• Provide ongoing support to maximize value from deployed solutions.
• Provide deep technical expertise on Cisco security technologies and architectural context.
• Evaluate alternative designs and influence outcomes.
• Troubleshoot root causes and assist in recovery from issues.
• Collaborate across Cisco security practice and other groups.
• Support standards, templates, methodologies, and delivery frameworks.
